By request of investigators Kolomoysky’s property arrested in Moscow

The Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case over serious and very serious crimes against peace and safety of humanity committed by the representatives of Ukrainian security forces and agencies in self-declared republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
During the probe investigators have found that governor of Dnepropetrovsk Region Igor Kolomoysky, who is now prosecuted under part 3 of article 33, paragraphs “a”, “b” “h”, “g” and “k” of part 2 of article 105, part 3 of article 33, part 1 of article 356, part 3 of article 33, part 3 of article 144, part 3 of article 33, paragraph “a” of part 3 of 126 of the RF Penal Code (murder, use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, prevention journalists from their professional activity, kidnapping), was directly involved in financing a punitive operation in southeast of Ukraine and activities of punitive battalions Dnepr, Azov and others.
In order to stop financing of the terrorist activity and other crimes against civilians in southeast of Ukraine, the investigators have got information on Kolomoysky’s property both in the Russian Federation and abroad to arrest it.
This way, the investigators know that ZAO Elite-Holding, whose co-founder is Kolomoysky, has an office building in Moscow and Kolomoysky may use the rent money to finance crimes in southeast of Ukraine.
Based on the court orders, the investigators have searched the said building, where they found and confiscated documents vital for the investigation. In addition, based on the court order and at the investigators’ request the building was arrested banning ZAO Elite-Holding from executing any administrative functions over it.
The Investigative Committee continues establishing other assets of Igor Kolomoysky, including those based in the Republic of Crimea.
