1 – A few days ago Angela Merkel called a spade a spade. She said that “the Ukrainian crisis – is in any case not a regional thing.”
“We are talking about Georgia, Moldova, if this goes on, we will talk about Serbia, about the countries of the Western Balkans” – says the German Chancellor.
2 – GDP – Gross Domestic Product. It includes bank transfers of migrant workers. And this is more than a billion dollars. Let us ask ourselves: what is the role of the Government of Moldova in migrant workers income outside the country? None.
3 – Here are the figures Dr. Michail Poisik leads.
We have 903,000 households. The average area is 2.5 hectares.
50% of the products is made not by small-scale farmers, but at personal farmsteads. That is, our agriculture today is personal farmsteads.
Here in private gardens Moldova produces:
crops, sunflower 22%, potatoes 80%, gourds 97%, fruits and berries – 55, grapes for more than 3\4, meat and poultry 3\4, milk – 97% and eggs about 2\3.
4 – Michail Poisik says that in 2005, about 29% of Moldova’s exports were alcoholic products. Last year – only about 9%.
Export to the EU countries increased by 3 times – from 10.49 to 32 (thousand decalitres). But the volume of trade with the EU is simply not comparable to what we sell to the Customs Union.
5 – Michail Poisik came to the conclusion: “If we sell all that winemakers have, even hoses, parts, tires … winemakers will still owe 1 billion ley.” The past year has brought 42 million ley losses in the industry.
6 – In 2012 there was a bad harvest. We collected only 506,000 tons of grapes. Last year was an increase of 20%, we collected – 612,000 tons. However, exports of fresh grapes grew by only 6,000 tons. That is, the increase was only about 5%.
7 – If our state pays per hectare producer additional 20€, EU pays 250 – 300€. What awaits our wine industry in the future?
Recently Bulgarian companies in the region began to buy red grapes. Why? – Before entering EU country was told to cut down sections of vineyards, which, according to Brussels, are redundant.
8 – So, fellows, chop vineyards, if you want to the EU!

This is said. I like Moldovan cognac. Haven’t ever tried the Moldovan wine. The Brussels decision seems strange to me
